YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Active participation in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB
- Processing of ongoing financial accounting including travel expense accounting and execution of payment transactions as well as account reconciliation
- Taking over the advance VAT return
- Preparation of the balance sheet for the foreign branch
- Collaboration in projects and optimisation of internal bookkeeping and accounting processes
- Accounts receivable accounting and dunning in coordination with the Senior Accountant
YOUR PROFILE:
- Successfully completed commercial training with further training as a financial accountant
- At least 2 years of practical experience in accounting, ideally in a banking environment
- Strong affinity for technical-operational processes and a basic understanding of IT; ideally experience of working with DATEV
- Initiative, open-minded personality and ability to work in a team
- High affinity for numbers and strong logical thinking skills for analysis and optimisation activities
