YOUR TASKS
- Project related selection of friction materials based on thermal and brake calculation
- Responsible in all questions of application, documentation and acceptance of friction materials
- Definition of test specification for new or improved friction materials of the Knorr-Bremse portfolio
- Responsible for the roll-out of new friction materials in customer projects by establishing validation documents ready for sales
- Technical support of internal and external complaints together with the customer care department
- Support improving the role of friction material application along the PEP process
- Maintain the relationship to the thermal simulation and testing department
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Physical specialization)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of rail or transportation industry is required, preferred in testing or simulation of friction behaviour
- Capable of managing multiple projects within an international context
- Very good MS Office knowledge and wish of programming skills (VBA)
- Excellent German and fluent English language skills
- Willingness to travel internationally
