Manager WHS Activation Austria (M/F/D)
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Develop and implement a holistic and consistent Trade Marketing strategy for respective Accounts in Austria. The strategy follows Central Europe guidelines and encompasses all Performance categories. Steer Trade Marketing activities of the relevant Accounts to further drive and support the business.
Key Responsibilities / adidas Runners:
- Lead the project "adidas Runners Vienna”
- Budget responsibility
- Co-operations with internal and external partners
Ke y Responsibilities / Brand Communications:
- Execution of the overall Central Brand marketing plan (seasonal and manual) with focus on digital marketing
- Input into the creation of the overarching Brand Calendar which includes publishing, media, Key City, ecom, retail, membership and PR activation
- Responsible for the creation and execution of local tools and executional plans of specific Comms activities
- Steer and develop external pitch processes to have the best creative and executional setup for local stories
- Collaborate closely with Partner Publishing teams, Sports and culture Marketing and Player management to ensure holistic concepts and activation approaches across relevant partner portfolio
Key Responsibilities / Wholesale Activation:
- Development and implementation of account specific Marketing plans (seasonal and annual throughout all relevant categories) with focus on digital activations with retail partners
- Securing positive sell-in and sell-out-activations
- Evaluation of Marketing executions at retail partners
- Innovative ideas and concepts to guarantee sell-out numbers
- Great relationship with internal (WHS, Brand Comm, Sportsmarketing, sales teams) and external teams (retail partners, suppliers)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven understanding of how brands translate into comms tools (all forms)
- Have a good understanding of the Consumer Campaign Process from brief through to execution, executing global strategies and extending through hyperlocal activations
- Clear football understanding and knowledge
- Strong knowledge and understanding of social media and communication trends
- Ability to build strong relationships (Agency Management)
- Strong presentation skills
- Proven communicator – both written and verbal
- Creative capacity / awareness
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Marketing experience, ideally will have worked within the Sports Industry
- Experience of the adidas business, or a significant knowledge in similar organization of the full marketing mix (from advertising, to events, to sponsorship, to retail) with a major brand or retail environment
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills other languages preferable
